Hair Removal
Electrolysis
An electric current is applied with a very fine, disposable needle- shaped electrode, or metal probe into each individual hair follicle to destroy the root. This method is ideal for light and grey hairs, dark/ethnic skin, and on small areas, such as the face. Treatments can take 15-60min and may be scheduled 2-4 weeks apart.

Laser Hair Removal
A laser pulse takes place for a fraction of a second, treating numerous hair follicles at the same time, long enough to heat up the hair and significantly destroy the follicle’s ability to re-grow. A special contact-cooling hand piece protects and cools the upper layer of the skin before, during and after each laser pulse while directing the laser energy to the hair root, allowing to treat even the most sensitive skin. This method is ideal for darker hair, lighter skin and is able to treat even the largest areas of the body quickly and effectively. Treatments are typically scheduled 6-12 weeks apart and can take 15-60min, depending on the area of the body.

Important
Hair grows in different stages: growing, resting and shedding. Because all of the hair isn’t on the same stage at any given time, multiple sessions are needed to get the hair in the growth phase to be most effective for both electrolysis and laser hair removal. It is important to understand that certain areas of the body require more treatments. More information is available about your treatment, costs of treatments and what results you can expect during your complimentary consultation.

Cosmetic Treatments
Permanent Makeup (Eyeliner, Eyebrows, Lip Liner, Beauty Marks)
The application of permanent pigment into the pores of the skin with a sterile (disposable) needle and color, to help naturally enhance the eyes, eyebrows, and lips. By penetrating only into the second layer of the skin, it is never deep enough to reach the blood stream and is perfect for sensitive-type skin, as the pigment does not consist of iron oxide. Ideal for those with sparse hair, alopecia, poor eyesight, post-cancer patients, physical disabilities, athletes or those that simply don’t have time and want to always look fresh and radiant. A doctor’s note and a patch test are recommended for those with a medical condition. A local, effective anesthetic is used for optimal comfort. Treatment takes approximately 60-75min per area and a complimentary consultation is recommended for pricing and further information.

Skin Treatments
Microdermabrasion Facial
An effective and safe highly controlled stream of fine crystals plus suction is applied to the surface layer of the skin. Providing the best of both worlds, crystal and crystal- free microdermabrasion in one system, this gentle abrasion and suctioning works to remove dead skin cells, unblock clogged pores, smooth the appearance of facial lines, stretch marks and minor scars, also reduces the appearance of blemishes and uneven skin tones. The skin is prepped before and after treatment, just like a spa facial, and is suitable for most people of all ages and all skin types, even sensitive skin. The microdermabrasion facial stimulates healthy circulation and allows oxygen rich blood flow more freely near the surface of the skin to feed and repair unhealthy cells, leaving the skin smoother, fresher, and revived. The treatment includes face, neck, and chest and is also effective and recommended for the hands, arms, and back. Treatments may be scheduled 2-4 weeks apart and last approximately 60-75min.

Skin Rejuvenation
Also known as Intensive Pulse Light (IPL) or Photo Facial, this laser therapy are light energies that precisely and safely target pigmented lesions such as freckles, age spots, sun damage and broken capillaries and gradually fades and lightens the area treated. It is effective on most skin types and the total number of treatment sessions depends on the skin’s condition. The skin is prepped before and after, making this a no- downtime procedure. Treatments are available for the entire face, neck, chest, hands, and back and can last from 30-60min., and are scheduled 4-6 weeks apart.

Skin Tightening
Light energies that precisely heat the dermal tissue within the target treatment area, stimulating collagen production and producing a firming effect in lax skin. This safe and non- invasive procedure helps reduce fine lines with noticeable lifting and allows texture of skin to become smoother, more luminous and toned. The total number of sessions depends on skin’s condition and results are gradual and cumulative. Treatments are available for the face (around the eyes, cheek areas, necklines) and body (hands, stomach, arms). Sessions can last from 30-60min. and are scheduled 4 weeks apart.

Combination of Treatments
Depending on skin type and skin condition, a combination of skin treatments may be recommended. For optimal results, a series of treatments are recommended.

Cellulite Body Treatment
VelaShape II
The combination of light energy, radio frequency, gentle suction and massaging action that generates heat into the fat cells, stimulating the cells metabolism and helps break them down. As an FDA Cleared treatment for reducing cellulite, Velashape contours, slims and shapes the body, as it tightens and smoothes the skin. Similar to the feeling of a heated, deep tissue massage, many clients return to normal activities immediately after treatment. Results and total number of required treatment sessions depend on body type and desired treatment area, which include thighs, hips, abdomen, upper arms, buttocks and neck. Treatments are recommended once a week in conjunction with a seaweed wrap and last approximately 30-60min.

Consultations
Before scheduling a medical spa treatment it is recommended to set up a complimentary consultation appointment. A consultation can take approximately 15-30 minutes and answers any important questions including prices, amount of treatments needed, preparations and at-home care. A consent form for all treatments will be required to proceed and therefore we ask to keep extra time to do so.

Cancellations
In consideration of our clients who may be on a wait-list, we ask that you please allow a minimum of 24 hours to cancel or reschedule an appointment. We understand that the unexpected may happen, but there may be a cancellation charge and we ask that you please plan accordingly.

Single Treatments vs. Packages of Treatments
All of our medical spa services are offered as single treatments. However, it is recommended for better results and more economical reasons to consider packages. Prices of all treatments are given at the time of consultation, since everyone is different.
